All Of My Life is the second single from Isabella’s upcoming EP. The song is about a love you had and lost, and then the moment when you finally find it again. All Of My Life is available on iTunes and Spotify.

Olé is the lead single from Isabella’s upcoming untitled EP. The song tells the story of a king, who is willing to sacrifice everything for the love of the world. It is influenced by gypsy culture and flamenco in southern Spain. The percussion reflects the sounds of Puerto Rico, the diversity of the culture and Isabella’s other musical influences that have surrounded her since her youth. Olé was released on December 5, 2016.

Isabella’s upcoming untitled EP features songs written from a place of passion, and is introspective of what it means to love. The central theme of the EP is everlasting love, with all the songs featuring reoccurring characters and anecdotes from Isabella’s personal life.

As an artist, Isabella has created an international sound, combining Pop music and Caribbean Latin rhythms, with passionate lyrics in English, Spanish and French. Her artistic influences range from the classical genre to rock-n-roll.

In 2016, Isabella collaborated with Capitol Records recording artist BJ The Chicago Kid on the single Love Inside from his debut album In My Mind, which was nominated for “Best R&B Album” at the 2017 Grammy Awards. BJ The Chicago Kid has previously worked with well-known musicians such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper.

Born as Kelly Isabelle Chiappini, Isabella grew up listening to artists such as La Lupe, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin and Juan Luis Guerra.  These artists made her realize that music was her passion.

Isabella is a graduate of the Lycée International and has also attended the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Colburn School of Performing Arts.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking, making jewelry, ballet and painting. She currently resides in Los Angeles.

We love All Of My Life. It will definitely resonate with many people experiencing lost loves. Is the song based on a personal experience?

The song is about a love that was once lost and now is found; a love or relationship that is cherished, then for some reason you are apart for a season. It was written based on experience and vision. Through time that passes, one realizes how truly important this love is and that it is the reason for living.

Let’s talk music. You like to combine a mix of genres, such as Pop music and Caribbean Latin rhythms. Why do you like this mix of sounds?

I grew up listening to a diverse range of genres and international music. As a singer-songwriter, I like combining the music that has inspired me throughout my life, with a genre like Pop, where both the visual and sonic are an art form. The rhythms used in Puerto Rican, Cuban and Dominican music, for instance, are full of syncopation, which is an art form in itself.

Let’s talk Olé. This is your lead single from an upcoming EP. Tell us about the theme.

The theme of Olé is sacrificial love. I used the King and a young woman as the two main characters in the story. Their love for one another is the focus, but, most importantly, the love he has for her. He is willing to do everything. In fact he has already demonstrated how much he truly loves her and that theirs is an everlasting love.

The producer I collaborated with is Huly on the Beat (aka Julio Rodriguez), a very talented and committed artist. It was so much fun creating together! He is currently a member of the group LAFAMe, (which I mention in Olé).

You collaborated with BJ The Chicago Kid on the single Love Inside from his debut album In My Mind, which is nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Tell us about the collaboration.

The collaboration with BJ The Chicago Kid came about through a friend. They wanted French lyrics on the single, and I was referred. We met the same day of recording. It was a short session, but a lot of fun!

Your musical influences are among the elite. La Lupe, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, and Juan Luis Guerra have phenomenal careers. How do they influence your music?

These artists have experienced longevity in their careers, and have been uniquely creative. They have their distinct sounds and have been successful for decades. I look up to them for their commitment and passion for storytelling.

Your new single Dream About Us will be out on March 17th. What inspired this song? What can we expect from it?

Dream About Us is inspired by a series of dreams and a promise longing to be fulfilled. You can expect to see a specific perspective on a love story. Its sound is also Pop with a Latin Caribbean, dance rhythm. It’s mean to inspire and give hope, while remaining in love.

Do you plan to tour with your release?

Absolutely! It is in the preparation stage right now. So, definitely stay tuned!

If there was a person you would love to collaborate with, who would it be?

I always say Bruno Mars and Ricky Martin, because of their charisma and artistry. There are other collaborations I envision as well. It will hopefully be a year filled with great creative ventures.

What do you like to do between recording?

I like to dance, study other art forms and go to the beach or the movies. Outdoor activities, such as hiking, bring inspiration. I want to do mission work with kids and help women in need.

What’s next in your career?

I would like to tour and write with other artists. Filmmaking is another craft I’m interested in; it has been very inspiring throughout my life. I hope to have the privilege of creating music for a very long time.
