The Support Indie Film Showcase runs September 1, to November 1, 2017 and is sponsored by DVD Netflix™ and Occhi Magazine™. We invite you to submit your short film (under 20 minutes) during August 1 – 22, 2017 for a chance to be spotlighted on the DVD Netflix™ blog site. We believe storytelling takes us on the greatest adventures. Your Film Review™ and DVD Netflix™ is dedicated to shining a spotlight on films that help us suspend disbelief and go on incredible journeys. We’re looking for films in Action, Horror, LGBT, Drama, Environmental, Romance, Sci-fi and Social Impact.

But wait! We believe your fans should have a say. Each week, we will choose three films for the Your Film Review™ Twitter Poll, where fans can vote for their favorite film to be featured on DVD Netflix blog. Each month, the films with the most shares via DVD Netflix™ blog site will receive a DVD Netflix Gift Pack.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for consideration:

Entrants must fully comply with these Entry Rules & Regulations:

– No hate speech or acts, no porn, and no extreme violence.
– Must be 5 – 20 minutes in HD format.
– Must fit category selected.
– Must submit by the deadline to be considered.
– Must understand that a submission doesn’t guarantee your film will be chosen.
– Must be the film’s director or writer.
– Non-English films must have English subtitles at the time of submission. Dialogue lists are unacceptable.

DEADLINES

August 22, 2017 – Submissions deadline for all platforms.
September 1, 2017 – Support Indie Film Showcase.

Note: Submissions can be in a work-in-progress form; however, anything that isn’t a final cut must be clearly marked “Work in Progress (WIP)” or “Rough Cut (RC)”. The aim is to shine a spotlight on your project. This is not a film festival.
