It’s very rare that one would use the words passionate, eggs, and amusing, all in the same sentence. However, that’s what you get with ‘Eggs On Your Face.’ In the time that it takes to make Eggs Benedict, this highly amusing short film “documentary” will fill your plate with laughter.
Directed by Joshua Parkhill, ‘Egg On Your Face’ is short on time and long on impactful entertainment. The well-chosen, humorous cast consists of French egg chef Blaisse Durant (Quentin Bruno), his sidekick of dry humor, “Bro” Antoine (Frederic Filsaime), Michelle Narkiss, Amber Crawford, and Timmy Walczak. The story whisks you into the life and evolution of French chef Blaisse Durant. His culinary art for cooking eggs, which spans many years due to his long passion for eggs. He wants to take on the world with his skills. His overzealous love of egg perfection motivates him to apply for a business loan. Chef Durant’s motto is “All Eggs Matter.”

 

The succession of unpredictable events and the film’s great camerawork will keep the viewer engrossed in this story. Even in the chef’s moment of chaos, the viewer will want to see more and cheer him on. ‘Egg On Your Face’ is triumphant. Its message is loud and clear…when the world breaks your eggs, make omelets.
