Ciara Vizzard’s angelic voice simply brings attention to the important message of her latest single ‘Victory’. Based in the UK, the American-Irish pop artist remains optimistic about the future, despite the world’s present challenges.
Determined to produce music with substance and sensibility, Vizzard provides an elegant folk edge to her combined genre of pop, soul, and touch of country. While the throbbing drums reflect a shared pain, the warm swirl of acoustic guitars will undoubtedly bring listeners comfort and help in these difficult times. Showcasing both vulnerability and resilience, the singer-songwriter’s voice gracefully soars in a chorus with a message that will certainly feel more relevant than ever. “Victory was written after quite a few unexpected tough life moments for me. It is me essentially saying that you can try to bring me to my knees but I am going to get back up because I will always have the victory, Ciara Vizzard describes. I guess you could say it is a fight song, to remind oneself to keep going especially when life gets tough and is a seemingly never-ending series of bumps in the road.”
Born and raised in America to Irish and American parents, Ciara Vizzard grew up in Paris, later moving to Belfast, before settling near London. Her nomadism fed into genuine life experiences, which has contributed to the unique style and authenticity of her musicianship. Dedicating her life to music these last few years, she’s been turning heads in the music industry ever since with a sold-out launch for her debut EP Fearless, followed by three more singles that revealed her growth as an artist. Produced by Nosa Apollo (Craig David, Ella Mai, Mabel), the track is now available on streaming platforms.
