From March 5–9, 2025, the Caribbean Fine Art Fair (CaFA Fair) celebrates its 15th edition in the vibrant setting of Barbados. Held at the dynamic and newly established Pelican House, the fair is beautifully framed by the historic charm of Pelican Village Craft Center in the heart of Bridgetown. This year’s event proudly showcases the exceptional talent of artists across the Caribbean and its diaspora, promising an inspiring and unforgettable experience. Featured artists include Heda Rose.

Heda Rose is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist who began her artistic journey in 2014, motivated by a deep spiritual calling. Her artwork is inspired by the transformative and healing power of art, vividly expressed through vibrant colors that celebrate her Caribbean heritage. She channels her personal pain into her work, transforming it into purpose.

Some of her career highlights include being selected as one of 150 participating artists in the Chianciano Biennale in Tuscany, Italy, as well as being chosen for the 2022 Museum of the Luxembourg Art Prize. Additionally, she participated in the 2023 London Biennale Award, VII Edition.

In addition to her accomplishments in fine art, Heda Rose is also a National Recording Artist who was part of a Billboard-charting group under the Interscope Records label. Her artwork radiates as visual melodies of hope and resilience, interwoven with themes of unity and love. Her pieces feature vibrant colors, dense textures, and emerging imagery, all contributing to a profound sense of healing and interconnectedness. Heda Rose’s artistry is a celebration of life’s vibrancy and the enduring spirit of humanity.
