Today, three-time Grammy Award-winning artist, actress, and poet Jill Scott announces the release of her highly anticipated sixth studio album, To Whom This May Concern, arriving February 13 via Human Re Sources/The Orchard. The first single, “Beautiful People,” is out now and streaming everywhere.

At its heart, To Whom This May Concern is an album that leans into the power of connection, shared humanity, and the idea of collective home. Infused with Scott’s signature grit and grace, the project is grounded in her lifelong mission to inspire and uplift—reminding us all that sometimes the most transformative magic is simply showing up with love, honesty, and a song in your heart.

Bringing a suitcase full of stories and soul, Scott returns with a body of work that feels like both magic and medicine. True to her collaborative spirit, the album features dynamic contributions from Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, and Too $hort, alongside acclaimed producers Adam Blackstone, Om’Mas Keith, DJ Premier, Camper, Andre Harris, Seige Montracity, Trombone Shorty, Eric Wortham, DW Wright, and VT Tolan.

This marks Scott’s first full-length release in nearly a decade, following a milestone year that celebrated the 20th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1—the record that earned her a Grammy and helped redefine the sound and spirit of modern soul. Most recently, Scott captivated audiences across North America with her sold-out 20th Anniversary Tour, creating intimate, unforgettable moments where memory, longing, and truth all came together.
