“There is treasure everywhere, and a H. Jack Williams record and songwriting are just proof. I was proud to be on it for just a short ride. A music life weighted with life’s observations and actual experience” expressed co-writer, Kevin Costner.
H. Jack Williams reflected, “I have put my heart and soul into this record, and I hope that the song about the abuse and horror that I lived through as a child will help someone else get through any kind of hell they may be going through.”
“Halfway To Hell is the culmination of a life lived by H. Jack Williams. It is a marriage of destruction and beauty. It is a pure mix of gruff and grace. Note by note, it simultaneously asks and answers the question, what’s next,” shared producer and co-writer, Adam Box.
