‘AMBER’ by ViB

Fresh off of their single Amber, ViB provides a fresh sound to today’s R&B. The young duo brings individual styles together, to form a very cohesive sound. Born 2 weeks and 1,200 miles apart, Nate Melville and Chaun Davis met in 2017. Nate hails from Massachusetts, and Chaun was raised in South Carolina. Although very different individuals, their combined sound of old school and modern R&B fit together like a hand in a glove. After their chance encounter in a Lyft ride, the two quickly bonded and haven’t stopped working since.

Using Nashville as their home base, VīB makes Fresh R&B music inspired by the sounds of nostalgia and the stories of today. Smooth melodies and vivid storytelling are the essence of their music. Very few current R&B groups can bring the same energy acapella as meticulously produced studio single. ViB does exactly that with Amber. With more exposure and continued work, ViB should continue to gain a larger following. Their talent cannot be denied.
