Writer and director Manu Boyer’s latest film will carry you away in an unusual storyline. Viewers of ‘To Whom It May Concern’ will be transfixed on the life of a very complex and damaged woman, along with an unlikely love interest rescued from a homeless situation.
The protagonist, Anna, is a beautiful, emotional, functional, yet suicidal young woman. She works as a bartender but is planning her own death and funeral. There’s a twist to the story when Anna, who needs rescuing from herself, decides to help out her neighbor called Sam. Sam finds himself homeless, compliments of his lying and cheating girlfriend. She takes Sam in. They eventually fall in love but, is it enough to save her life? No spoilers here, but pay attention to certain nuances of the characters throughout the film. This entertaining film is all about the details and wonderful editing.
A true drama romance, this is a movie to watch. Delivering matters of the heart and emotions from beginning to end, the film stars perfectly cast Dawn Olivieri “Anna” (“House of Lies”, “Heros”) and Wilmer Valderrama “Sam” (“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”, “That ’70s Show”).
