Bodhiheart co-led by Noah Hoffeld, cello & Wells Hanley, piano release “Love Rules”. The musicians met several years ago whilst performing for various ensembles in New York. They’d known each other for a couple of years but one day, waiting for another artist to for a rehearsal, they began to improvise spontaneously. They had always enjoyed playing together, but that particular moment and connection opened a new door for them. This experience was the catalyst for their subsequent collaboration.
The musicians continued to play together in groups until they decided to explore a project of their own that would bridge their spiritual and musical lives. And so Love Rules was born Mark Egan (Pat Metheny, Sting, etc) on bass and Arjun Bruggeman (Belinda Carlisle, Robert Bly) on tablas seemed like the perfect addition to the project. The album was mixed by the great Mark Plati, who’s mixed albums by Philip Glass, Prince, the Cure, David Bowie, and many others. Love Rules was mastered by Tom Durack, at Inwood Hill Masters.
A Canadian. An art, music and film enthusiast, who loves her life and particularly the creative people in it! Glad to be working with a talented and creative group of artists at Occhi.
