Alex (Harrison Ball, NYC BALLET) is a dancer with exceptional talent from a long line of dancers. However, he is struggling to cope after the recent tragic passing of his mother. He now lives with his aunt Anya (Debbie Harry, Blondie), who was born in the Soviet Union and holds on to various superstitions from her upbringing. She is convinced that their family is cursed, and believes that Alex’s inner turmoil is causing destructive outbursts that threaten his bright future.
At Anya’s insistence, Alex attends a late-night appointment with the enigmatic psychotherapist Dr. Leechny (Marc Geller, Severance). Using his own form of pseudo-scientific hypnosis, Dr. Leechny and his mysterious assistants, Chakra & Harmony (Jemima Kirke, Girls), guide Alex into a hypnotic state.
While under hypnosis, Alex confronts his deepest fears and darkest truths. Encouraged by a vision of his deceased mother, he finally confronts his inner demons. The next morning, after leaving his appointment, Alex experiences catharsis as he dances through the streets of NYC as the sun rises.

His dedication, creativity, and deep understanding of the character added a new dimension to the film. Through Harrison Ball, we brought Debbie Harry, of Blondie, on board. Debbie is a true star, a cultural icon, and an incredibly beautiful person.
