Multi-award-winning scenic designer and visual artist Christopher Cumberbatch headlines a list of over 40 Caribbean and Diaspora contemporary artists participating in the 15th Annual Caribbean Fine Art Fair at the refurbished Pelican House. Mr. Cumberbatch will discuss his career designing and creating sets for stage and screen on Saturday afternoon, as part of the daily schedule of art, fashion, film, and performance.

Actor/Director Tyson Hall, known for his work on Empire Boulevard, Raising Kanan, and Godfather of Harlem, will discuss his career and filmography at UWI EBCCI on Thursday night of the Fair at 7 pm. His visual art will also be on display at the Pelican House venue, adjacent to the historic Pelican Village Craft Center in the heart of Capital City Bridgetown. Both Mr. Cumberbatch and Mr. Hall are Barbadian Diaspora born in the US. While operating on opposite sides of the camera, they have collaborated with many of the biggest names in the film and TV world.

Art enthusiasts worldwide can join CaFA Fair 2025 in person at Pelican House in Bridgetown, Barbados, or virtually by visiting the website www.caribbean.global, from March 5 to 9.

Caribbean artists showcasing their works at CaFA 2025 include Ademola Olugebefola and Afreekan Southwell of the US Virgin Islands; Shadrach Burton of Dominica; Diogenes Ballester and Rachel Smith Sepulveda of Puerto Rico; Moses Ros from the Dominican Republic; Patricia Brintle and Charles Jean-Pierre of Haiti; Bernard S. Hoyes, Melroy Art, and Heda Rose from Jamaica; Jemma St. Lawrence representing Trinidad & Tobago; Trevor Todd from Bermuda; Cher Antoinette Corbin, Chris Cumberbatch, Ras Ilix Heartman, Kerry Horton-Wiltshire, Steve Reid, Ann Rudder, Malique Shorey, and Zoanne Evans of Barbados. Additionally, Tau Battice from St. Kitts/Nevis and Maxanne Rock from St. Vincent & The Grenadines will be exhibiting their creations in person.

Discussing the event, CaFA Fair executive director Anderson M. Pilgrim shared, “We are excited to present the range of styles and media from emerging and established artists representing 14 Caribbean nations, Ghana, Senegal, and the USA. We are honored to feature the array of local, regional, and diaspora talent as part of our scheduled programming this year.
