Submissions are open for the 2nd Annual Women On the Dark Side Film Festival in LA. Women On The Dark Side Film Festival opened an early call for entries on FilmFreeway.com for their 2nd annual event on February 14th for all short subject and web series categories. The regular call for submissions opens March 14, 2020. Women On The Dark Side Film Festival is open to films with female (and those who identify as female) crew in significant positions such as producer, writer, director, lead actors, etc., across the globe and accepts submissions in all genres, especially horror, sci-fi, fantasy, drama, and comedy from professional, first-time, student, national and international indie filmmakers with films in the following categories: Short Film – Including Documentary & Animated (under 20 min.) Web Series Pilots & Episodes – Live Action and Animated (under 12 min.) The awards a prize package worth $500 or more, including prizes from sponsors such as Final Draft and Shot Lister. Finalists will screen at Long Beach Comic Con in Long Beach, CA in September 2020.
