Urban Bush Women, a Brooklyn-based performance ensemble and dance company, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in collaboration with Lincoln Center. The events and performances will include a movement jam/dance class that emphasizes the unique and powerful contributions of individuals and the agency of our bodies. Through innovative choreography, community collaboration, and artistic leadership development, Urban Bush Women uses dance to bring together diverse audiences and work towards creating a more equitable balance of power in the dance world and beyond. The celebrations will take place from Friday, July 26 at 5:00 pm to Sunday, July 28 at 5:00 pm at The Garden at Damrosch Park. For further information, please visit the Lincoln Center website.
