On Saturday, March 15, at 7 PM, Real Art Ways, in partnership with the Greater Hartford Arts Council, Hartford Jazz Society, Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz, Artists Collective, WWUH, Jackie McLean Institute at The Hartt School, and Hartford Public Library, proudly presents an unforgettable concert and community celebration featuring the Curtis Brothers & Friends!
This event follows the incredible GRAMMY® win on February 2, 2025, by pianist-composer Zaccai Curtis and his talented bandmates Luques Curtis (also pictured), Willie Martinez, Camilo Molina, and Reinaldo De Jesus. Their award-winning album Cubop Lives!, released last May on Truth Revolution Recording Collective, earned the prestigious title of Best Latin Jazz Album. The record is a vibrant tribute to the Afro-Cuban Jazz and Bebop tradition, marking a monumental milestone in Zaccai Curtis’ career and celebrating the exceptional artistry of this rising star ensemble.
