Country2Sync (C2S) is a self-guided online video course designed to help songwriters transition into the growing world of sync licensing. Created by industry veterans Nancy Peacock and Queenie Mullinix of Washington Street Publishing, who bring over 25 years of experience in music publishing and sync placements, the course provides expert guidance on securing song placements in film, TV, trailers, and commercials.
Registration for C2S is now open and runs through May 22nd. An early bird discount of $100 is available for the first two weeks (April 9-22). Sign up for the course [HERE].
Peacock and Mullinix shared, “Over the years, we’ve listened to thousands of songs while searching for the best to add to our multi-genre sync library. Many came close but needed composition tweaks, better production, or both. Others we loved but couldn’t sign because they weren’t legally clearable for film & TV usage. Writing for country artists is very different from writing for film, TV, and advertising, and Country2Sync helps songwriters bridge that gap. While initially designed with country songwriters in mind, the course is packed with valuable ‘insider’ information that benefits writers of all genres.”
Country2Sync also offers an affiliate program, providing marketing materials and a 50% commission on sales generated through proprietary links. Register for the affiliate program [HERE].
Unlike other sync courses, C2S includes episodes specifically tailored for country songwriters, while also offering in-depth training for writers across all genres. The course goes beyond theory, featuring audio and video clips to demonstrate how different musical styles impact scenes or advertisements. Additionally, attendees receive an exclusive opportunity to pitch one of their songs for live evaluation during a 2-hour online listening session, gaining real-time feedback and a chance to get their music noticed by industry professionals.
