Open Ealing is an arts organization based in Ealing, London, UK. The organization has been delivering a program of creative projects, educational workshops, and activities for over 10 years. Its aim includes working with emerging and established creative practitioners across a range of the arts, enabling professional development and training, and being fully involved in the local community; offering activities and events and working with people of all ages and levels of ability.
It was founded in July 2010 by local artists and residents with the support of local organizations such as Pathways, A2Dominion, West Ealing Neighbours and Ealing Arts + Leisure. In January 2013 the constituted community group became a limited company, OPEN Ealing Limited, and started the process of becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2019. After having access to numerous high street spaces from which to operate its artistic programming, this month sees a new chapter as it opens a new arts center in Ealing’s Dickens Yard- a new development in the Ealing’s Broadway district.
