“Strobe Lights” was born out of ELUNIA’s own experience navigating London’s relentless film post-production industry, where exhaustion is worn like a badge of honour and burnout is quietly celebrated. “It seemed like a prize to be overworked, to have dark circles under your eyes,” she reflects. “I tried to convince myself I was fine, but I realised I was losing the connection to my younger self — the version of me who created music just to feel something real.” That younger self first found solace in the quiet corners of a school music room, writing songs as a way to cope with feeling like an outsider. Classically trained on multiple instruments, ELUNIA discovered true creative freedom when she started producing music at just ten years old.

Her journey took a pivotal turn thanks to a serendipitous SoundCloud encounter with producer JMAC, which led to her debut single “Borderlines.” The track quickly resonated, amassing over 30,000 Spotify streams and earning praise from several publications.
