The Ealing Club Supports Oxfam’s Virtual Music Festival ‘Oxjam’
Oxjam is the annual live music festival brought together by volunteers for Oxfam in support of its efforts to combat world poverty. In 2020, the festival has had to innovate and create a virtual festival made up of recorded and live performances for the 28th November 2020. The event start at 12pm London GMT
“Ealing Club Eclectic” stalwart, “TJ Johnson” will be making an appearance as part of proceedings in a specially recorded session held under semi-lockdown conditions in October.

He appears alongside a myriad of bands from across the UK that include a live performance from special guests such as Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis, Beady Eye, GLOK).
Those of our followers with a jazzier taste may be interested in checking out the exceptional talents of Andrea Lisa and Rouhangeze + Tomasz Bura who also have West London connections.
Shaun Keaveny (BBC Radio 6 Music) will be showcasing a musical extravaganza that goes up and down the country and beyond to help raise money for the Oxfam Christmas fundraising appeal ‘Together Against Hunger’. The programme is set up to help families hit hardest by the pandemic who are facing crisis levels of hunger in 2020.
The £5.00 ticket fee is a tiny contribution to such a great cause that also happens to be pushing forward some amazing new musical talent. There is absolutely no doubt that some of those featured will end up on a larger stage…….. in front of live audience…in a venue….sometime, fairly soon…hopefully 2021.
