Out-Spoken: Poetry and Live Music Night

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 7:45 PM, attend the Purcell Room for electrifying spoken word performances featuring some of the UK’s hottest poets. The event will be hosted by award-winning poet Joelle Taylor and accompanied by world-class musicians. Throughout the evening, Sam ‘Junior’ Bromfield will be spinning an excellent selection of reggae, soul, and R&B tunes. Tickets are priced at £15.

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 7:45 PM, celebrate the launch of Kit De Waal’s captivating new novel, The Best of Everything. Join the author of My Name is Leon for an engaging in-conversation event in the Purcell Room. Tickets are available for £15.

Amitav Ghosh: Wild Fictions

Join acclaimed author Amitav Ghosh on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 7:45 PM in the Purcell Room. Known for his bestselling Ibis trilogy, Ghosh will delve into his latest collection of essays, Wild Fictions. This thought-provoking collection explores storytelling and our connection with the world, drawing from essays published over the past 25 years. Suitable for ages 16 and up, tickets are priced at £15.
