We had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Luke, again! Check out the interview below.
Hi, Luke! Thank you for granting the interview. Congrats on your role as Billy in CBS All Access Tell Me a Story television series. What should the audience expect to see?
Fast-paced, thrilling, suspenseful, fun, sexy, great characters, intense circumstances – basically all the best elements for an epic drama.
Tell us about Billy. Who is he? What is his personality like?
Billy is a young adult living his best life in NYC. Fun, laid back, lives in the moment – the ideal best friend.
What role does Billy play in the series?
Billy is in more of the Hansel & Gretel storyline. He plays the roommate and friend of Gabe, who is played by Davi Santos.
Was it a challenge to play Billy? Did you have to pull from experience?
Billy was a lot of fun to play – like a ton! So the only challenge was to have lots of fun. Maybe a little personal experience but primarily good old imagination.
How did you get the role?
There’s a lot of unknown elements to getting a role. I kind of like that. Some things are better off not known. I did a few auditions, got the call and got the blessing. Movie Magic.

The subject matter of the series is very entertaining. How does TV production bring something new to the story?
It all Kevin Williamson!
What is going to surprise people about Billy?
The will be some eyeliner and some sweet dance moves.
Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of Tell Me a Story dialogue and why?
“We live in between right and wrong.” Can’t say more due to spoilers!
When looking back on the production, what resonated with you the most and why?
The people involved honestly. It’s such a high-level group of cast and crew to be around and get to work with. Good vibes.
In your opinion, what scene in the series is going to blow people away and why?
Hahaha ….You will just have to watch and be blown away.
What do you enjoy most about your character and role?
I enjoy his view of the world and how he handles himself in potentially awkward situations.
Do you have anything else you would like to share about the series?
You need to watch! It will not disappoint!
You will be returning to The Good Place in season 3 to reprise your role as ‘Chris Baker’ in episode 8. The series follows Eleanor (Kristen Bell), a recently deceased woman who wakes up in the afterlife and is sent by Michael (Ted Danson) to The Good Place, a heaven-like utopia, in reward for her righteous life. You’re playing Chris, who becomes Eleanor’s new soulmate after Michael erases her memory in the season one finale.
Chris Baker is a great guy. “Jacked” of all trades. Soulmate, mailman, avid gym goer, demon?…
You can be seen in the upcoming feature films Fluidity, Final Frequency, and The Creatress opposite Fran Drescher. How exciting! Tell us more.
Yes! I worked on The Creatress with Fran Drescher. And then immediately after I filmed Final Frequency with Charles Shaughnessy, which was so awesome because I was a huge fan of The Nanny growing up.
Are there any additional projects you would like to share?
Final Frequency and Fluidity are anticipating an early 2019 release date. And I’ll be posting more about that and other projects on my Instagram @lukeguldanofficial. So follow along and let me know what you think!
