We had an awesome opportunity to actress Jenny Katrina. Check out the interview below.

Hi, Jenny! Thank you for granting the interview. Congrats on your emerging career. ? What inspired you to become an actress?

Hi! Of course, thank you for having me! Honestly, besides the play pretend and always entertaining as a child; I think it stemmed from the fact that I wanted to try every career field out there – from being a lawyer, dentist, doctor, teacher, you name it! Not to mention, I knew that it would also give me a prevalent opportunity to help and be involved with causes that are near and dear to me.

Is there a role you haven’t played that you have your eye on?

My goodness, YES. *laughs* I’ve always wanted to play a kick-butt leading female character and something supernatural/sci-fi! I think that would be so fun and exciting to explore 🙂

What has been your most memorable role?

There was this one pilot I was pinned for, it was so funny. I played this Sci-fi character where I got hit by a car, spun around, lost an eye, hit the ground, blacked out, and then woke up with a regenerated eye, then walked off nonchalantly (ditsy). *laughs* that was definitely one of the most memorable due to the circumstances!

What do you look for in a script?

Substance. Definitely substance. Of course, you’d want to take any role because you just want to work, or at least I do because all I want is to have a script in my hand, BUT with that being said . . . I do prefer to go out for roles that I believe in and would touch, help, or move my audiences in a positive way/light.

Have you considered directing a film project?

I would love to! I can’t say I ever have or know the first thing about directing other than BEING directed. As I get more experience I would love to get the chance to learn and one day direct! That would be amazing!

The industry is always changing. How do you stay current in your field?

First and foremost, knowing yourself and staying true to you. I think authenticity is so so important. That is timeless and never goes out of style. To stay current career-wise, I would say .. to always work on your craft. There is never too much training, if you think you’ve learned it all, you’re in the wrong room!

What is your favorite hobby?

Just one? Hmm… Aerial silks, anything with being in the air just takes my mind off things because it requires me to be so present and free!

Do you have anything else you would like to share about your career?

I can’t wait to share with you guys what God has in store for me and us!
