With so many organic skincare products being touted on the Internet, it’s nice to meet an entrepreneur who has requested a patent on her health and beauty line. I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to interview Niche’ Clement. She’s the owner of Che’ Natural™ and goes by the nickname Che’. A graduate from Dobbins AVTS High School, with a cosmetology license in 1999, Che’ attended Penn State University for 5-years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing & Management.
Her daughter had severe eczema and Che’ was desperate to find something organic that that would work for her skin and scalp besides steroids. This inspired her to create Che’ Natural ™, which is a trade secret and has a patent pending.
I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Che’. Check out the interview below.
Hi, Che’! Thank you for granting the interview. First, let me just say that I have enjoyed reading all of the wonderful reviews for Che’ Natural™. The company was inspired by your frustration in finding an organic cure of your daughter’s eczema.
My daughter is currently 10-years old. But, when she was two, I took her to CHOP Dermatologist for her severe eczema. I was frustrated with putting steroids on her. The point where I started to research natural alternatives was when my daughter, Sanaa, had hair loss in her scalp from the steroids. I first Googled how to stop the itch, the best natural moisturizer and last was how to promote hair growth. I also visited my local Wholefoods to do other research, and I started to purchase every natural, raw ingredient that I could get my hand on. I started concocting different products for my daughter, and I do jot whatever I use, I write down dates of usage, and I would keep documents to see what worked the best.
How important is it to use natural ingredients today?
I’m so happy that I made the change to making natural products. I even went as far as changing my family’s diet; we now eat plant-based foods, NO MEAT!!
How did Che’ Natural™ become so successful?
I believe I’m still growing into what some may call successful! However, I have been making Che’ Natural ™ for 8 years now, and it’s not just some overnight thing. Consistency is essential to building a successful business. I did a 30 Day Street Hustle Challenge which I had to hit the streets and sell $100 worth of Che’ Natural ™ products daily for 30 days; I video the 30 days to inform my followers; this taught me a lot about myself. During the 30 days, I got to know my customers, I met and networked new customers also. The bottom line is, I’m still growing & Thank you so very much for this interview.
You use a degree in Business Marketing and Management to help others. Tell us more about why you decided to do this.
My educational background: I graduated from Dobbins AVTS High school with cosmetology degree then went to PENN STATE UNIVERSITY for Business Marketing and Management, soon after, I got married and had children. Che’ Natural ™ wasn’t meant to be a business it was just something I was doing for my daughter in the beginning until I let my family and friends try it and next thing you know they were getting me orders because they liked the products I was making from my kitchen and still till today I currently make everything from my kitchen. So, I decided to make it a business and got an LLC and patent pending. It just so happens that my background is perfect for what I do.
How rewarding has it been?
The reward is that I am not only helping my daughter and family and friends, but I’m helping my community and customers/natural community with natural products that work. Oh, and that I can help take care of my family financially with doing something I love.
