In modern dystopia, Amos Waits sifts through feelings of existential dread while taking the listener on a sultry midnight drive with their effortlessly cool French pop-inspired lounge tunes.  Pulling musical inspiration from Men I Trust + Lewis Ofman and lyrical content from general misanthropic angst this is a love song for the modern age. The brand’s latest single,  ‘Apocalyptic Tendencies’  written and recorded with Josh Korody  (The Beaches, The Dirty Nil) and mastered by Dan Weston, exhibits hypnotic rhythms and slow-burning, relaxed energy.  There’s more from the band, as a five-track EP is scheduled to drop in February next year.
