Director Nick Hamm brings a fascinating Biopic Ride of Auto Magnate John DeLorean to the movie world. The film is aptly named “DRIVEN.”
“History is written by the Victors.” The Victor, in this case, is the movie “DRIVEN” and it’s amazing cast. It stars Lee Pace, “John DeLorean” a complex man on a driven mission to where? That is the question. Andy Sudeikis, “Jim Hoffman” the storyteller neighbor/conman. And, Judy Greer, “Ellen Hoffman” is lovable and strong. Isabel Arraiza, “Christina DeLorean” there for the ride, baby! The well-cast members also include Iddo Goldberg, Erin Mariarty, Michael Cudlitz, Tyler Crumley and Tara Summers.
Driven the Movie has all the ingredients of a Great movie for today. It’s an amusing drama that grips you. The actors draw you into the story of John DeLorean a complex, yet flawed genius of a man. He’s portrayed Beautifully by Lee Pace as an older man in this story. Yet, young people will really relate to him. Lee Pace is at his Best as John DeLorean.
Driven, is about the times of the 1970s & ’80s. Anyone who lived in the ’70s & ’80s can appreciate it. The scenery was filmed in Beautiful Puerto Rico, check out the sunsets. The costumes and sets of the ’80s will make you smile. The Driven Movie soundtrack will make you groove to the sounds of Jackson 5, Rick Risso, Kool & the Gang, The Platters, Taste of Honey, so many more. It’s not often, people go to see a Great Movie with a Fabulous soundtrack to groove with. All of the music is so Good! “DRIVEN” the Movie is the whole entertainment package.
Most of all, the Film “DRIVEN” is a well-told drama. An amusing roller coaster ride in a DeLorean. It’ll make you wonder, where have you been all my life? Stunning! Thrilling! Electrifying!
