The Punjabis are smuggled in by the Mexicans, Punjabis sneak in the drugs, the Mexicans sell the drugs and the Punjabis help Launder the money. The early narration in the movie revealing this significant piece of information sets the stage as the plot unfolds. A part Punjabi and part Mexican brother (played by Kang) and his sister who runs a car scrapyard, once owned by their late father, who once worked for the Mexicans, swindle the Mexicans of $100,000 whilst laundering funds.
They are under pressure to repay the money but unknowingly rob a dirty cop to pay off the debt. The origins of the funds used to pay off the debt are questioned by the Mexicans and the drama begins to unfold. Although punctuated with violence in certain scenes, it is done tastefully with justification and the director choreographs the camera skilfully to show his mindfulness of this. Each actor and actress holds their own and delivers a good effort developing the characters from the script to the screen. The individuals behind the casting made good decisions and the producers and executive producers have pulled together a decent project worth checking out.
