The latest track from the very talented Nancy Goudinaki is the first from her forthcoming solo guitar project. ‘What I Was For You – Re-Think’ is all about life and choices, in every aspect, and features Antoine Drye on Trumpet. The two have been friends for over 10 years and the friendship strengthened after Goudinaki started teaching classical guitar to Drye’s son. Their collaboration has been at least one good thing coming out of the lockdown period.
Another welcomed opportunity was working on the video. Goudinaki discloses; ‘Another good friend of mine, Mr. John Adam’s recently opened his business Hermana NYC. He generously offered his place for me and Antoine to go and make the video. I have a whole solo guitar album to share and I’m waiting for things to be open so I will release it! Meanwhile, I’ll keep writing some tunes on my new endorsed guitar! It‘s a folding, silent guitar and I’m super excited with her sound. The guy who‘s behind this unique, lightweight guitar, with its high-end design, is Mr. Yorgos Bechlivanoglou.
