HaZimation is thrilled to announce the release of its latest animated action-thriller, “Max Beyond”. The movie will be available on UK Digital Platforms starting from 22nd April, and in the US from 23rd April.
The film is about a young boy named Max, who is held captive in a research facility. He has the unique ability to create rifts in the fabric of spacetime across parallel universes, which he uses to search for a reality where his brother Leon, a former marine, can rescue him. Despite several attempts, every rescue mission ends in Leon’s death, which takes a toll on both brothers. Eventually, Max realizes that his captors are using his power against him. He decides to take control of the situation and rewrites the story from the beginning, instead of just focusing on how it ends. The cast includes BAFTA-award-winning actor Jane Perry (Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman, Returnal), Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead), and Cade Tropeano (Black Bird). Motion capture performances from Ace Ruele (Eternals) and Alex Kong (Marvel Studio’s What If?).
Max Beyond is directed, co-written, and co-produced by Hasraf ‘HaZ’ Dulull (Disney’s Fast Layne, indie sci-fi features – The Beyond & 2036 Origin Unknown), co-written by Stavros Pamballis (Siege On Liperti Street) and co-produced by Paula Crickard (Jolt, The Protege).
