House Gospel Choir is a London-based vocal group that debuted in 2014 at the Glastonbury Festival Founded by Creative Producer and vocalist, Natalie Maddix leads a choir that blends two distinct musical genres – House and Gospel. The House Gospel Choir aims to be a voice for those who may not always know the words but can sing. It’s a community for anyone who has ever lost themselves in music at a festival, in a nightclub, or even on the way to work.

The choir is based on the idea that while we may not all be able to speak at the same time and be heard, we can all sing together as one voice and be understood. This mantra extends to the audience, who are encouraged to participate with call and response, handclapping, dancing, and simply having a good time. We recently caught up with Natalie Maddix to learn more about the choir and what audiences can expect from their upcoming performance on June 23rd as part of Chaka Khan’s Meltdown at London’s Southbank Centre.
