Connor Kirk is a Philadelphia-based art-rock artist known for his electric stage performances, his singular devotion to the craft of songwriting, and his unique ability to synthesize concepts from the literary and visual arts into a pop-music framework. Fusing elements of dance with alternative sensibilities, his vision is as compelling as it is novel. He has honed his craft through years of intensive songwriting and performing, opening for such acts as Ceramic Animal and Young the Giant.
Beginning in 2022, he released a steady stream of singles. As Connor’s latest single, “Day by Day” explores themes of spiritual hunger and human depravity through a fusion of rock, stream-of-consciousness poetry, and fiction writing. It is written, performed, produced, and mastered by Connor and depicts the scene of a fictionalized near-future, an anarchist street gang in confrontation with their city.
