Malachi Jaggers is putting his own Americana twist on country music that is resonating with fans everywhere. With multiple singles and a debut EP under his belt, Malachi has worked with Grammy-nominated producers, played alongside several notable musicians, was up for consideration on the Grammy ballot for two singles in 2022, received prominent video placement on Ditty TV for his release An American Hero, and received national and international airplay in the U.K. and Ireland.

His recent release ‘Too Soon’ resonates with the current times we are living in. With an upbeat feel that resembles a Motown sound, this song showcases a truthful spirit of feeling confused and coming to a place of accepting that feeling. Too Soon is available now on all streaming platforms including SpotifyApple Music, and more.

In his music, which is best described as an eclectic blend of Americana, Country, Folk, and Bluegrass, Malachi aims to invoke nostalgic feelings of historic family ties, railroads, and heartland America into what he calls “Heartland Rock.” Too Soon mixes the two ideas of nostalgia and modernism as its melody takes you on a journey to the past while its lyrics resonate with the current times. Written by Malachi and Americana singer/songwriter and long-time friend Scott Greeson, Too Soon was self-produced by Jaggers and was born out of the idea of how social media and the internet have enabled people to say things to others that they never would say in person.

“There are a lot of angry words being spoken and written; it is spilling out over into our society,” says Malachi. “We make a lot of assumptions about others based on one piece of information and just like that, we have filled in all the blanks about them without knowing them. Why waste our time, breath, energy, or thoughts on what we cannot control? The only thing that matters, in the end, is being kind, real, and authentic with communication.”

With the official music video for Too Soon, Malachi hopes that his fans and listeners will find the courage in themselves to live authentically in a world that often strays from it. “I want my fans to be entertained when they hear this song and be able to relate in some way. Just because your beliefs don’t line up with someone else’s, things don’t have to take a nasty turn. We are all discovering, learning, and growing, and that is okay.”

With numerous tour dates slated through the end of the year, Malachi is already booking into 2024 with multiple dates confirmed in Florida.
