Nicole Zignago is a singer and songwriter who has spent most of her time between Peru, Los Angeles, and Boston, making her musical proposal a refreshing mix of current Pop. She began singing and writing songs at a young age and upon graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2019 she is signed to Warner Chappell Latin.
Nicole has a captivating voice and a special sensitivity when writing. She uniquely tells stories and comes to revolutionize Pop with her musical project.
After standing out as a composer and participating in hits such as “1,2,3” (Sofia Reyes ft Jason Derulo and DeLaGheto), in May 2020, she officially released her debut single, titled Preguntas (?), entering the Viral 50 Peru within one month of release. Then in August, she continued the charts of the 50 most viral in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras, Uruguay and Nicaragua with “Ella (Remix de Ellas)” with Pi5zion and Keia Os. Subsequently, with the release of “Feelings” she again entered the Viral 50 of Spain, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Uruguay. In February 2021, a month after the release of “Quien Lo Diria” with LAGOS, they entered the 50 most viral in Peru and Colombia.
In 2022 Nicole is nominated for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys. In 2023 Nicole released new music, the first single being “No Quiero Olvidarte”, during June of the same year she went on tour with Jesse and Joy through the United States and Canada and participated in the Tecate Live Out festival in the city of Monterrey.
Nicole just released her new single “26” (ni tarde ni temprano) Feb 1st. The irresistible acoustic indie pop single “talks about how important it is to make peace with time and how life never ends up happening like you wrote it down in your diary when you were 16. Society is always trying to make us fit in an agenda that is not healthy to follow…that’s why I wrote this song. To remind myself I’m never early or late, I’m always on time,” confides the artist. She is set to tour with JP Sax throughout the US. She will be part of the 2024 edition of the Tecate Emblema Festival in Mexico City and headline her own shows in Peru and Mexico. Nicole’s much-anticipated debut album is slated to release in late April 2024.
