Gail Farmer confides, “We wrote I Walk The Night at a time when I was experiencing very fresh grief. For me, “the Night” is an expression of what it felt like to live with my grief, which is such a dynamic and multifaceted emotion. I love this song because it captures so many of those facets, lyrically and sonically. I am fascinated by the duality of love, as a source of pleasure and pain, and that is definitely a theme in this song and throughout our album, Everything is OK.”
