Hi, Aly! It is so good to catch up with you. You’re such a rising star! Congratulations on your EP being featured on Billboard in November 2017 and the 20 million streams on Soundcloud! Your first single, No Parachute, became the second biggest Pop song on Soundcloud’s worldwide charting at number 1 in several countries.
The response to my music has been really overwhelming & it feels amazing to be heard by so many people. I honestly didn’t expect this great of a feedback from the community. I think SoundCloud Is a cool platform for independent artists to upload their music and be discovered by tons of new fans so I’m happy to be on this journey. ?
Were you prepared for the instant shot to fame?
No, honestly one of the most amazing surprises was that No Parachute charted at number 1 in Germany on the SoundCloud top 50 pop chart. To see it do well in Europe where I’m originally from has been wonderful.
Your Billboard appearance was an opportunity of a lifetime. Wouldn’t you agree?
Yes definitely! I’m a big fan of the outlet & was really happy to get featured. Especially because I used to look at my favorite artists and read their billboard articles so it’s surreal to see myself on there.
You’re also a songwriter. Where do you get your inspiration?
My music is often born from my insecurities. Most of my songs are real stories that happened to me or chapters In my life I haven’t been able to close.
You’re also a fashionista! We adore your outfits. Tell us about a typical shopping day?
Thank you! I’ve gone shopping at Goodwill and I’ve gone shopping at Melrose. I love it all. I also collaborate with different brands. Lately, I’ve been getting into online shopping, too, but sometimes I’m scared the clothes won’t fit and I hate the process of returning things. LOL
If you weren’t singing, what would you be doing?
I think I would be a psychologist. I love the mind and it’s complexity as well as connecting and talking to people and to hear their stories. So, if it wasn’t music that’s probably what I would be doing.
What are three “Good to Know” facts about you that no one knows?
- I’m originally a redhead.
- I recently binge-watched all 10 seasons of friends on Netflix in 3 days, didn’t leave my place.
- I’m addicted to Mexican food
Do you have any upcoming projects that we haven’t mentioned?
Yes, I will be releasing more music throughout the year and I am working on my debut album. I also have some secret collaborations coming up that I can’t talk about, yet. ?

A live stream concert from space. For the people that can’t come cuz, they are scared of heights…they could still be a part. I want to sing with the stars ⭐ I think I would need to talk to someone like Elon Musk to make that happen. ?
