Briana Roy is an American actress and model born on August 14, 2005, in Hollywood, Florida. In addition to English, she also speaks French and Creole. She is of Haitian descent. Started as a child model in her hometown Miami at the age of 5 years old doing print ads & local Tv commercials such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Walmart, Target, etc.
Briana Roy came to prominence due to the Movie thriller Reclaim in which she played the role of Nina alongside John Cusack, Ryan Phillippe, Rachelle Lefevre, Luis Guzman & Jacki Weaver distributed in 2014 by LionsGate and later picked up by ” Netflix”.
Moved to Los Angeles, California in 2014, Roy then landed several national & international Tv commercials such as Peek-a-boos , Kmart, Tide, Comcast Xfinity, Etc. Briana Roy appeared on Nike 2016 – 2017 International Fitness Ad & Video Campaign. Briana Roy was the lead girl on Usher / Yuna music video ” Crush”. Also appeared on daytime talk show Fablife alongside her sister Jenasha Roy under Kid Diy Sisters hosted by Tyra Banks & Chrissy Teigen, source ” Youtube”. In 2017, Briana appeared on Daytime Game Show Idiotest alongside her sister Jenasha Roy under Kids vs Kids Episode 4012. She guest starred on Freeform formally known as Abc Family Tv Series Recovery Road Episode 5 ” My Loose Thread”. Appearing in many short films in such as Snooze wakes up the planet playing the role of Kate, Sweet Rice the role of Milly, Letters playing the role of Brianna Taylor which by the way won two awards ( Gold Winner 2018 ) at the International Independent Film Awards. Briana appeared on the 2018 web series Elle Twelve as Kendra as a Lead role. She played in the 2016 Feature film The Forgiven, the role of Bendu William.In 2018 Briana Co-Starred on Disney’s Tv show ” Raven’s Home ” as Natalie alongside Raven Symone Episode 205 ” Weave Me Alone”.

Q1. Hi, Briana! We’re so happy to speak with you! Thank you for granting the interview. You’re an actress, model, and social media influencer. You’re best known for your role as Nina in the 2014 thriller “Reclaim”. Tell us about your role and character.
Hey : ) Thank you for interviewing me.
I played Nina in the movie Reclaim distributed by LionsGate and Netflix . My role was basically a young clueless orphan girl from Haiti who got conducted by an adoption agent ” played by Jackie Weaver ” and brought to Puerto Rico to a young couple ” Played by Ryan Phillippe & Rachelle Lefevre ” in hope for a better life , after her parents passed away from the earthquake that happened in Haiti in 2010 . And then things got twisted when Benjamin “John Cusack” Stepped in.
My pleasure! You have an awesome portfolio of work. You starred in high-profile commercials and music videos. How do you continually hone your craft?
Thank you so much, Yes I have done several gigs in the entertainment industry. I would say how I continually hone my craft is that I always try to bring my natural talent as much as I could while auditioning for a project. However, I do continuously take acting classes, Workshops, Improv as well I always dress to look the part when I go to auditions and most of all I deliver 100% in front of the casting director as well as callbacks in front of the client.
Some of our readers are teenagers and have goals to make acting their career. What advice can you give them?
To the lovely teenage readers who want to start making acting their career, I want to say to them make sure that’s what you want and love and therefore you will have to stay motivated and have a plan . But expect there are ups and downs in this industry.
What do you enjoy most about acting?
What I enjoy the most about acting is, first of all, seeing myself on the big screen after I’m done shooting a project. Also when I’m on set and I’m revising the script, then shooting, When the director is saying ” Ready Action ” …. the hair and makeup part, The food, the trailer.
What has your best experience working in the industry?
The best experience yet has to be while I was shooting Reclaim in Puerto Rico there was a pool scene where I was on My adopted dad back ” Played by Ryan Phillippe ” I was so happy and I kept on saying ” Yayyyy free piggyback ride”.
Is there a role you would love to play in your career and why?
I would love to someday to play a ghost just to give myself some type of boost where I don’t have to think they are real anymore… Ahaha.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
On my spare time, I love to take lots of selfies, eat pizza, Hula hoop and design clothes.
Sounds like a fun spare time! If there was one thing in the world you could change, what would it be and why?
If there was one thing in the world I could change it would be bullying because, in my opinion, no-one should go through that and suffer from that because it can really cause damages in people life.
Are there any projects you would like to add that we haven’t mentioned?
I just recently co-starred on Disney TV show ” Raven’s Home ” alongside Raven Symone. As the role of Natalie for an episode called ” Weave Me Alone”. I guest starred on ABC Family TV show ” Recovery Road ” as young Trish episode called ” My Loose Thread “. I participated in the 2017 NIKE Ad and video campaign. I was featured in Usher music video ” Crush ” Source Youtube. I was a special guest on Tyra Banks show “FABLIFE ” source Youtube under kid Diy sisters. My sister and I were on GSN game show called Idiotest.I played the lead role in three short films : Letters, Wake up the planet, Coffee and cabbage and a feature film I play the role of Bendu Williams, I recently shot a web series ” Elle Twelve ” the role of Kendra which will be coming out sometime during summer , Last but not least I recently shot as the main role of a pilot for Nickelodeon for an upcoming game show .
