Up and coming actor and writer Elena V. Wolfe stars in the highly-anticipated new live-action television series Star Falls set to make its premiere March 31st, 2018 on Nickelodeon. Created by George Doty IV (Scooby Doo, iCarly and the Loch Ness Monster), Star Falls centers on Sophia Miller (Siena Agudong) a strong-willed teen who persuades a Hollywood movie star and his family to live in her house while he shoots a movie in town, all with the hopes of setting him up with her mom. But the star’s three kids find their new rural life is a drastic change from the L.A. lifestyle they’re accustomed to. Everyone’s lives are hilariously turned upside down as the kids struggle to help their parents find love and adjust to what could be their new life. Elena plays the role of Sophia’s young single mother Beth Miller, who is also the town’s veterinarian. She leads a very simple life until one day superstar Craig Daniels (Dion Johnstone) moves to town with his three children to shoot an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster. Beth is immediately smitten. Star Falls also stars Kamaia Fairburn, Tomaso Sanelli, Jadiel Dowlin, and Marcus Cornwall. Currently, Elena is also working on her first debut novel COZ and the Invisible City. The novel is inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s short story Children of the Zodiac and centers around three mythical children fallen from the constellations in search of an enchanted city deep beneath the earth.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Elena V. Wolfe fell in love with acting at a very young age watching her favorite shows on television. Her first introduction to performing came in the form of a high school musical when she was cast to play one of the evil stepsisters Lucinda in Into the Woods. Her acting would take a backseat however when she received a scholarship to play varsity tennis at the University of Virginia. It wasn’t until after graduating college that her acting career would resurface when she landed her first role in the American crime drama television series The Bridge on FX. Shortly after, Elena joined the cast of the hit sci-fi television series Defiance on Syfy and Space. Other credits to her name include Flashpoint (CTV), The Firm (NBC), Degrassi Takes Manhattan and Filthy Cities. Outside of the film and television industry, Elena is an avid tennis fan and has had the opportunity to travel the world alongside her husband, Dusan Vemic, pro-tennis coach to tennis champion Novak Djokovic. She is also a home design buff and has secretly always dreamed of having her own home renovation show. Understanding the importance of
philanthropy, Elena supports causes that are close to her heart with a strong advocacy for all things environmental.

Hi, Elena! Thank you for granting the interview. You are starring in a new series called Star Falls by Nickelodeon. It premieres March 31st. Congrats! Tell us about your role and character.
I play Beth, a young single mom who lives in a small town with her daughter Sophia. Beth is shy and introverted but with Sophia by her side, her quirkiness comes out. Beth has a huge crush movie star Craig Brooks, and when Craig moves to town to film a new movie, Sophia and her friends conspire to make them fall in love.
This series sounds awesome. How did you prepare for your role?
I spent a lot of time with my niece and nephews! I’d never worked with kids before and I wanted to get to know how they think, what they’re interests are, what’s “cool” nowadays! Needless to say, I didn’t need much prepping— the cast is absolutely amazing and fun, and we all hit it off instantaneously. Spending all this time with kids, I also learned a whole lot about how to make slime!
What should the viewers expect?
The viewers should expect a laugh a lot. The wonderful thing about this show is that the writers made sure to include jokes that both adults and kids would love.
What has been your fondest memory filming the series?
I think my fondest memory is the day I met my costars for the first time. The energy was so incredible, and I never met such a positive group of people. A close second would be the day I had to be dragged through the mud by a big dog!
Is there a particular role you would like to play in your career?
I always wanted to play Lara Croft. Growing up I’ve played all the Tomb Raider video games, and I was even Lara for Halloween one year. But I’m definitely excited to see Alicia Vikander take on the role.
If you could play a superhero, who would you be, and why?
Superman, because I always wanted to fly!
You’re also working on your first debut novel called COZ and the Invisible City. Tell us more.
Yes, I am working on a children’s fantasy series. It is inspired by a short story written by Rudyard Kipling called “Children of The Zodiac”, and it’s about 12 magical kids who descend from the constellations to save mankind.
Thus far, what has been the best experience working in the industry?
Working and gaining success in the industry has allowed me to meet some of the people (writers, showrunners, actors), that I’ve grown up idolizing.
Do you have any upcoming projects that we haven’t mentioned?
My writing partner and I have recently completed a pilot and will be shopping it around next season. You’ll have to stay tuned!
