Introducing Artist Joseph Goldstein

Joseph Goldstein is a freelance artist from the NY/NJ metro area. His cartoons have appeared in The Funny Times, The Wholesaler, on commercial websites, and as part of commercial presentations. He champions cartoons as an underrated art form. “Cartooning is one of the greatest and most underrated artistic mediums. It possesses an immediacy that other forms don’t have. It is the easiest and quickly accessible type of art. The creative and expressive possibilities are endless–and everybody likes to laugh.” His artistic passions are drawing, music, and writing, as his goal is simple. “I enjoy laughing and making other people laugh. If one of my cartoons makes somebody chuckle or smile for a few seconds in their day, I’ve achieved what I set out to do, and I’m happy.”

As an experienced session vocalist, he has toured the world and had several original works featured in film and television. Mark has been involved with several New York City projects including Feel the Music! and Make Music New York. An avid music lover, he takes pride in his extensive vinyl collection and spends his free time helping to facilitate service projects that benefit at-risk youth, through artistic philanthropy. Mark is based in New York and resides in New Jersey with his lovely wife and two daughters.
