At first glance, the images lead you to believe that this is just another acoustic typical rock song about love and heartbreak, but once the layers are peeled back, you began to realize that it is much more. This song has a real blue-eyed soul type of vibe, ala John Mayor, Josh Groban, maybe even a little Eric Clapton, and it’s not a heartbreak song. It’s more of a passionate love confession, about a man loving a woman that he can’t seem to do without. All in all, this song explores love from a perspective of a man who is in love with a woman. The quality of the musicianship takes the listener on a journey, with bluesy soulful rock overtones, complimented by smooth soul-filled vocals. I wouldn’t be surprised if I heard this song playing in my local Starbucks, in a Macy’s department store, or on the top 40 of an adult contemporary radio station.
