The artist has a rap-singing combination that works very well. Lyrically these guys really compliment each other, the hook is strong, and the song is well written. The music has a current style of trap music production, which is really the most popular sound out today. With a really good mix, and a radio edit/clean version this is definitely something that could work on urban radio. This song could be playing on the FOX TV Show Empire. The artist is talking about being real, and how important is to not let yourself get played by anyone. Whether it be by some so-called industry person acting all Hollywood, perpetrating the fraud, or even getting taking advantage of by some tricky character who only wants to see you fail. This is a very motivational song. Overall the moral of this song is, you have to get it, every single day, regardless of anyone, or anything trying to stand in your way.
