The Bristol-based rock group Oswald Slain is set to make waves with the new single, “UGLY,” a standout track from their debut EP, “Kiss Me On The Mouth,” dropping in April 2025. Formerly known as Little Thief, Oswald Slain delivers a powerful sound that weaves classic Americana with an unmistakable rock edge. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Neil Young and The Band, they infuse their music with a gritty energy that fans will immediately recognize. With driving rhythms and fuzzy guitars, their work is not just entertaining; it resonates deeply, captivating listeners with both heart and soul.

Having solidified their presence under the name Little Thief, the band has toured the UK extensively, commanding stages at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Shambala, Liverpool Sound City, Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling, and Green Man Festival. Co-founding members Charlie Fitzgerald and Rhii Williams, who have collaborated on music for over a decade, have decisively embraced a new direction. The birth of Oswald Slain springs from their creative spirit, cultivated in the comfort of their home studio, showcasing their personal growth and musical evolution. Their latest music, recorded during the bleakness of January 2024, reflects significant introspection. Fitz transforms the chaos of youth and the complexities of aging into sincere, humorous, and evocative lyrics, backed by the timeless swagger of classic rock.

The single “UGLY” follows the impactful release of their November debut single, “Happiness Is Overrated.” In tandem with this new release, Oswald Slain is primed to launch their first UK tour, kicking off on April 17, 2025, at Trillians Bar in Newcastle, promising an unforgettable celebration of their debut EP.
