Sarah Banker is a soulful singer-songwriter based in the scenic mountains of Colorado. Her musical journey began with a childhood steeped in theatrical performances, but it was through songwriting—discovered after learning guitar—that Sarah truly found her voice. With a degree in Cultural Anthropology, she picked up the guitar and, within just three months, performed her first show. Captivated by the experience, she sold most of her belongings 18 months later and embarked on a life-changing journey with just a backpack and her guitar. Her travels through the jungles of Hawaii, the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the deserts of southern Utah, and the peaks of Colorado have profoundly shaped her music, infusing it with the spirit of exploration and connection.
Her latest release, Into the Heart, is a vibrant four-song folk-pop EP that showcases Sarah’s authentic and transformative storytelling. Produced by Jeff Franca (Thievery Corporation) at his studio nestled 9,000 feet high in Colorado’s Indian Peaks Wilderness, the EP delivers a sound that is heartfelt, playful, and organically rich. Each track is a testament to resilience, offering listeners a musical journey that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Sarah’s talent for distilling complex emotions into simple, expressive lyrics is a hallmark of her music. Her songs invite listeners to reflect, heal, and embrace life’s challenges, creating a space for connection and personal growth.
At the heart of her artistry is a desire to be a source of light and love through sound. Sarah hopes her music inspires others to unlock their potential, sharing, “You are the ONE—the one with the power to create a fulfilling life. Everything you need is already within you to take charge of your journey.”
