Kyle Brooks, as a performer, has collaborated with artists and organizations such as Tesher, Shayna Steele, Diane Schuur, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, and Toledo Jazz Orchestra. He can also be heard on several recordings that span from EDM to free jazz.
As a composer, saxophonist, educator, and innovator, this artist has been making waves around the Midwest and beyond for his introspective, informed, and collaborative approach to music. He has worked extensively in the music communities of Chicago, Indianapolis, and Northwest Ohio, and is proud to consolidate his experience on his debut album, “Monarch.” The project features lifelong friends and collaborators and includes original music inspired by the work of musicians such as Ben Wendel, Terrace Martin, and Marquis Hill, among others. He is joined by some of Chicago’s finest young musicians – Elio Wijaya (piano) Stephen Parisi Jr. (bass) and Kabir Dalawari on drums.
