Bristol-based rock quartet Spin Class is thrilled to announce the release of their new single, Bagel Bagel Bagel, set to drop on April 25, 2025. The track is the first glimpse of their upcoming second EP, Dinner At Derek’s, due later this year. Since forming in 2023, Spin Class has crafted a distinctive sound—melding proggy riffs, hook-heavy melodies, and grunge-infused desert rock into an electrifying mix. Their music explores themes of the mind’s eye, creating what they describe as an “ADHD-fuelled, visually stimulating riff machine.”

In December 2024, the band released their debut EP, Wednesday, a six-track collection that culminated in a sold-out headline launch at Bristol’s Loco Klub. Deeply rooted in their hometown’s creative community, Spin Class continues to collaborate with local musicians, illustrators, and artists to amplify their work and celebrate Bristol’s rich artistic culture.

With Bagel Bagel Bagel, Spin Class aimed to bottle the raw energy of their live performances. The track was recorded live in its entirety with producer Josh Gallop (Krooked Tongue, Phoxjaw, Sergeant Thunderhoof) at Stage 2 Studios in Bath.

Vocalist and lyricist Louis Slater shares the inspiration behind the song: “Do you ever feel like a bagel? Soft and delicious on the outside, but with a hole in the middle where all the bits should be? Now triple that feeling, and you’ve got Bagel Bagel Bagel. Our lyrics often retell personal experiences, and this track pairs those reflections with humor, featuring lines like, ‘Ain’t the mix that makes the bread, hole in the bagel.’ It’s punchy, energetic, and layered with frustration—designed to light you up. The fast-paced, punky rhythms, playful call-and-response between guitar and vocals, and the sludgy, doomy breakdown at the end make this song the perfect way to kick off the next chapter of Spin Class.”

Keep an eye out for Bagel Bagel Bagel and prepare for a thrilling new era from Spin Class.
