London born artist ‘Treasure’ releases his new EP entitled Suffocation & Air. The album follows the success of his previous releases endorsed by the likes of Spotify official playlists, COLORS, and Apple Music.

Treasure’s family relocated to the English countryside in the early 2000’s trading the busy city life for the suburban serenity, a feeling present throughout his catalog.  Inspired by the likes of Frank Ocean, Choker, Homeshake, The Internet and D’Angelo, his laid back production and genre-merging tendencies provide a nostalgia-based backdrop for his lush soulful harmonies. The tracks are rather unobtrusive but emotive and alluring enough to draw you further into paying attention to the album’s narrative of life experiences, self-acceptance, and love in all forms.  Wearing his emotions on his sleeve, each track highlights Treasure’s sense of vulnerability and ability to create a space where he and his listeners can rest at ease without fear of judgment.

The songwriter shares, “I’ve always struggled to fit in and can’t find my place in this industry or world even, but I’m okay with that. Music is my way of protesting my unapologetic individuality.” Suffocation & Air is Treasure’s unique take on indie rock, peppered with jazz-tinged vibrations. As an exploration of opposites, the EP emanates dark, moody tones, with an intimate ethereal sound.

Suffocation & Air is currently available worldwide. We wish Treasure the very best with the EP. For further information please visit his social media pages.
