Nabaté Isles is back with a hip tribute to the late great Chadwick Boseman, who recently passed away due to cancer. A collaboration with hip hop artist Niles, it is a touching single that is befitting for the great thespian and humanitarian. Like Boseman’s life, the song is short but full of meaning and no second is wasted in honoring this amazing spirit. Radiant songstress Beth Griffith-Manley (NBC’s The Voice) is featured. and the amazing lyricist and songwriter Niles blesses this joint with some amazing rhymes that flow effortlessly. Nabaté’s all too familiar lyrical trumpet sings the praises of Boseman, bringing the music to a whole new level.
Much like Mr. Boseman, Nabaté Isles is no stranger to being a caring human being as a portion of the proceeds from this single will be dedicated to The Chadwick Boseman Charitable Fund for the Arts. I’m sure Chadwick Boseman is smiling down at the legacy he has left, and this single is among many of the beautiful flowers that are blossoming due to this legacy.
