The first exhibition to showcase artists from the UK public relations (PR) industry, ‘The Art of PR’, will open to the public for a week in London this November at The Coningsby Gallery, London from 18th to 23rd November 2024. This diverse and vibrant exhibition, open to the public and free to view, will display a collection of original contemporary works in various media, including oils, watercolors, pencils, digital art, print design, and photography. The exhibition, supported by communications agency Boldspace, will also feature live portrait drawings by the artist and PR Joe Thomas in the gallery. In our series of features, we’re delighted to shine the spotlight on the artist Nadia Padayachy.
At the heart of Nadia’s creative process is a profound appreciation for colour. A colourist at heart, Nadia infuses each piece with bold, vibrant palettes that amplify the emotions within each scene. Colour is not just a visual tool but an emotional language, conveying the depth and richness of a moment in time. From the gentle warmth of an evening at home to the lively energy of a playful moment, every hue serves to express the sentiment of the moment captured on canvas.
Now, with the experience and momentum gained from the show, Nadia continues to develop a body of work that resonates with families, parents, and anyone who finds beauty and joy in the everyday.
Her pieces are an invitation to reflect on those small, intimate moments that are so easily lost in the rush of life. Through each painting, Nadia celebrates the timeless themes of love, resilience, and connection, hoping to create not only beautiful art but also a mirror that reflects the shared experiences of parenthood in all its authenticity and warmth.
