Harlem Arts Alliance & Dwyer Cultural Center present Excellence & Influence of African American Theater. The event provides a platform for Conversation with Theater Pioneers Woodie King Jr, Founder & Director Emeritus of New Federal Theater, and Jackie Jeffries, President of the Audience Development Committee (AUDELCO), with invited special guest commentary by Liz Van Dyke, Luther Isler, Malika Franklin, and Michael Green.
The event includes an introduction by Voza Rivers and will be moderated by Ademola Olugebefola.
On Wednesday, September 25, the Harlem Arts Alliance & Dwyer Cultural Center presents two art exhibitions from 6 pm – 8:30 pm. Living Forest showcases a series of works by Chris Cumberbatch.
