Occhi Arts and Entertainment is supporting The Ealing Club CIC, a non-profit organization, in celebrating the origins and history of blues in the UK. British rhythm and blues would soon spread to other London venues, notably the Crawdaddy, Eel Pie Island, The Flamingo, and the Marquee.
This year has seen prestigious screenings of the Ealing Club film, ‘Suburban Steps To Rockland – the Story of The Ealing Club’ at festivals in France, Italy, and Japan. Recently, the movie has screened in Agen (Lot-et-Garonne, France), accompanied by several other leading music documentaries. The new Ealing Club theatre production heads to the Judi Dench Playhouse at Questors Theatre London on the 7th of January 2023. This is the production’s second time at the venue after limited sold-out performances. Each visitor will see the one-hour theatre production followed by an authentic mid-’60s influenced R & B set from The Hornets.
