Producer, songwriter, and engineer Anu Sun, affectionately known industry-wide as “Anu The Giant,” is a major player in New York City’s live music scene. His recent credits include work on the Grammy Award-winning motion picture soundtrack Miles Ahead, work with legends Johnny Cash, Miles Davis and work on Robert Glasper’s Grammy-nominated Black Radio 2.
Anu Sun’s recent album Sanguine Regum directly addresses the racism that continues to exist in the USA. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, we had the opportunity to ask him a few questions regarding the present social climate and the role artists play in creating a progressive society.
