Following a successful summer season, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has a great lineup of presentations for the fall and winter. Artists from around the world will be performing in both contemporary and classical traditions, reflecting the cultural diversity of New York City. There will be a range of free or choose-what-you-pay events available.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding. The performances are on Friday, September 20 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the Alice Tully Hall
